Treasured Chests is the brainchild of Kelly
Moore. “Kelly will never forget the first time she
felt a round, bone-hard lump on her chest. “I
was lucky,” she admits. “I caught my cancer in
the early stages and had a lot of support from
family, friends and colleagues.” Although she
was told by her doctor that the lump was
nothing to worry about, she was persuaded by
those who were closest to her to get the mass
removed. The results came back from Mayo
Clinic diagnosing her with Tubular Breast
Cancer. She underwent a second lumpectomy
then was treated with radiation. She has been
cancer-free since 2002, but her life will never
be the same.
"After talking to various musicians, artists, local
celebrities, and business owners about the
concept behind the show, they embraced the
idea of being a part of our Treasured Chests
Gala. Seeing how our passion and drive were
shared by others, it made me realize the HUGE
impact that Treasured Chests could have here
in Minnesota."

Mission Statement

- To showcase Treasured Talents - a variety of locally and nationally known artists,
musicians, models, dancers, entertainers, celebrities, businesses and much more will be present
- To raise awareness and funding for continued research of Breast Cancer and Treasured Chest
